Navigator Of The Seas Completed

It seems like yesterday I reviewed the final shop drawings from the contractor who did the Pool deck project in Navigator of the Seas.  It was quite an experience as we were given the project at the last minute since the previous architect was fired from the job.  The original contractor, MJM bailed out on the project as they felt there was too much liability on their hands doing a project so fast tracked.  It was quite a shock considering my team and I travelled all the way to their office in Ireland to have a contractor meeting to discuss how we can do the project efficiently in a short amount of time.  Tino Sana, a company based in Bergamo Italy ended up doing the project and they proved to be successful in executing the project in such a short amount of time.

The pool project came out successful and has been a hit with the guests.  It’s been such a success that Royal Carribean is making sure that that the design is integrated on as many ships as possible.  What maked Navigator of the Seas such an interesting ship is that my team and I have worked on many projects.   They include a blow dry bar, a seafood restaurant, a Next Cruise, a cafeteria hall, Dining Room refurbishment and several lounges.  I will be taking a cruise on this ship with my team and I and I very much look forward to the experience.
